Centro is looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Staff Augmentation and ITO Sales team. Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. The BDR focuses on the top of the sales funnel, generating leads and nurturing them to the qualification stage, where they can be handed over to Account Executives (AEs) for further development and closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Use LinkedIn, email marketing, online resources, and cold calling to identify potential clients.
- Research target accounts, industries, and key decision-makers to build a prospect database.
- Execute outreach campaigns to engage potential clients, leveraging tools like Zoho CRM and email automation.
- Qualification
- Conduct initial conversations to understand prospects’ business needs, pain points, and potential fit for ITO services.
- Use a structured framework to qualify leads based on predefined criteria (budget, authority, need, and timing – BANT).
- Schedule discovery calls for qualified leads with Account Executives.
- Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in Zoho CRM.
- Track and report on KPIs such as outreach activities, lead qualification rates, and pipeline contribution.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing to align outreach efforts with ongoing campaigns.
- Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to refine the sales process.
- Collaborate with AEs to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads.
Qualifications
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a similar sales or lead generation role.
Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoho CRM, and email marketing tools.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
